THE VOICE OF THE BIBLE

Alexander Scourby
Alexander Scourby (1913-1985) has been called "The Voice of the Bible".  He was an American film, television, and voice actor and the first person to ever record the entire Bible.  Originally, he narrated the Old Testament and New Testament for the American Foundation for the Blind, taking four years to complete and finish in 1953, called The Talking Bible, a set of 169 records.
According to Mr. Scourby's biographical page, he writes:
“I offer you the most rewarding gift you will ever have an opportunity to give someone you love ... the recording of THE HOLY BIBLE ...the world's most important book, and a gift of a lifetime for anyone to receive."
