GOD'S GREATEST MIRACLE

   The biggest problem for man today is trying to make all things equal for all people across the face of the earth, such as the same jobs with the same pay, the same houses, the same cars, the same clothes for male and female, with the same religion, with same-sex marriages equal to male-female marriages, and with Santa Claus equal to Jesus Christ at Christmas.
   Genesis 11 and John 11 are two of the most important chapters in the Bible.
   Genesis 11 is about man's invention of religion, built on the belief that man knows best what is best for man, while John 11 is about the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, to which the Bible clearly says:

      "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
        Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
        But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
       And being made in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
      Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
      That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in the earth, and things under the earth;
      And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."  (Philippians 2: 5-11)

   Man's greatest problem today, however, is the belief that a bunny rabbit at Easter is equal to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is God's greatest miracle of all miracles.

CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS

   "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."  (2nd Corinthians 4: 4)

   Think about it.
   Without God in the knowledge of man, man can be whatever man imagines himself to be, which is an image of himself, which makes him a god without a rival as he will also arise to rule and reign over others in all the ways that he can imagine.
   Think about it.
   Everything that man has built upon the earth he has built out of his own imagination.
   Man builds companies and creates jobs, and people work their jobs according to the outlines they are given from others out of their imaginations.  As they work their jobs, they imagine the ways they will spend their money---some for housing, some for food, some for clothing, some for fun---and if there is not enough money to meet his desires he will imagine ways to reduce his spending and not go broke until his next payday.
  Think about it.
  Man created sports and sports arenas, and as the athletes perform, we imagine ourselves playing in their places and playing better than them while imagining the attention we are getting instead of them.
   Think about it.
   Man created religions out of his imagination and built the buildings where he gathers to worship in the ways that he has written---the rites, the rituals, the prayers, and even the men in priestly garments he appoints to lead others in man's way of worship unto himself.
   Think about it.
   Without the knowledge of God in minds of man, man is free to be to be himself with no limit to his imaginations:  for man will not restrain himself:  for there is no limit to the evil that man will pursue, for the evil of man is the good of man in his own mind, which is to please himself while he polishes his own image in the presence of others:  as he desires others to bow to him instead of him bowing to others:  as he believes that men can be gods, too.
   Out of his own imagination, man will cheat, and not call it cheating.  He will steal, and not calling it stealing.  He imagines wars and creates wars.  He imagines peace treaties and makes peace treaties, then imagines ways to break the peace treaties.
   His religion gives him a license to confess his sins, then return to his previous behaviors as they were before he entered the building of his religion as if he had never confessed at all, for his confession was only in his imagination.  For outside the building he returns to the other page of his imagination:  to the imaginary life that he was living on the other side until his next appointed time to enter the building.
   Man lives there.  Where?  In his imagination.  This is the world in which he was born and there he remains, doing as he pleases and in all the ways that he can imagine. 
   God?  Where is God?  Man knows not.  He asks not.  All he knows is what others teach him from his birth and from their imaginations. 
   A man without God will not be seeking God, but he will be seeking a religion because from living in his imagination he imagines that religion is the place where God abides.
   A man of religion can say, however, that Jesus is in his religion, but the Jesus he believes is real is only an image  of Jesus that has been cast in his mind from the god of his religion.
  What, then, should man be doing?
   He should be:
      "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."  (2nd Corinthians 10: 5)
    
      "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."  (Romans 8: 38-39)
 

WALKING IN IMAGINATION

   When people choose to walk with God, the Lord will give them many stories to tell; but when people turn their faces against God, they are walking in their own imaginations and telling their own stories.
   More than this, people can also walk in the imaginations of others.

   In the Bible, God warns us about the power of man's imagination as well as the power of man's heart.

   First, "the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth."               (Genesis 8: 21)

   Secondly, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked:  who can know it?"   (Jeremiah 17: 9)

   Therefore, when man puts his evil imagination to work and mix it with his deceitful and desperately wicked heart, what will man do? 
   He will produce evil things because nothing good can come out of him.
   When people, obviously, agree with the imagination of others, they also walk in their imaginations:  so that they surrender their own minds to the minds of others, thereby becoming like them because they have also surrendered their own identity for the identity of others as their ways become their ways and their beliefs become their beliefs:  they become walking-talking textbooks of their role models, or their idols:  so that everything they do and pursue is reflected from others into their own souls.
   More than this, evil man will persuade others to agree with him for the purpose of producing a war against God, a war against God's people, and a war against the Bible, the Word of the Lord. 
  And the vehicle man has produced to fight against God is man's invention of religion from his evil imagination and from his deceitful and desperately wicked heart:  for everything that religion is it is a work of deception, thereby leading people to also turn their faces against God:  for religion is an evil thing, for it is out of man from whence religion comes and not from God.
   Perhaps we should stop here and ask a question:
   Are you walking in your own imagination and telling your own stories, or are you walking in the imagination of others and telling their  stories? 
   Once people enter the arena of religion, for example, they are walking in the imagination of others.   For it is there that they cannot take their eyes off their religion, just as they cannot take their eyes off their leaders, who stand before them in either fancy suits or priestly garments, and to their words they accept and obey as if they are hearing words from above:  as it is also here where they teach their children to do likewise:  to become followers of man instead of becoming followers of God.  Now that the parents are deceived, the parents will then contribute to the deception of their own children by agreeing to have the heads of their children dipped in the same indoctrination from the time they are toddlers, or even at the beginning of their infancy.

   Again, God issues a warning for people in their deception of others:

      "Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD."  (Jeremiah 17: 5)

   But God, because of His grace, gives people a door through which they can escape the wicked leadership of man:

      "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is."    (Jeremiah 17: 7)

   Furthermore, it must also be said that, as children grow up in the arena of religion (or as they become adults) they retain their childlike minds because they were never instructed to make their own decisions, but primarily because they have always relied on their religion's rulers to make their decisions for  them.  In other words, their religion does their thinking for  them; and to their religion they cling to all the days of their lives while still believing in the same teachings when they are seventy just as they were taught to believe when they were seven because the script never changes.
   When we arrive in arenas of fake churches and fake Christian religions, we see yet another truth in adults with childlike minds; for after attending Christmas Eve services in their institutions, some people will rush home to read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas'  to their children.  Instead of reading the second chapter of Luke from the Bible, concerning the birth of Christ, they choose instead to read a book of fantasy  at this most important time of the year because they, the parents, still retain their childlike minds and they like the story as much as they believe their children will also like the story and thereby believe that Santa Claus is the lord of Christmas and not Christ the Lord.  Baby Jesus was the story at church, but at home a mythical character is the story with the children not knowing the difference because the parents, still with childlike minds, do not know the difference.  And just as the parents continue to walk in the imagination of their religion, the children learn to walk in the imagination of their parents and in the same religion, which can extend across generations and even for hundreds of years.
   But the Word of the Lord tells us the truth about these circumstances:

      "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child:  but when I became a man, I put away childish things."  (1st Corinthians 13: 11)

  Men and women of religion, however, are unable to put away this childish thing of religion unless their minds and hearts are converted to the knowledge of Christ. 

      "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."  (Hebrews 11: 1)
     "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."  (Romans 10: 17)
     "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? and how shall they preach, except they be sent."  (Romans 10: 14, 15)

   The people of religions and fake churches are not people of faith because they are people of sight.  They can see their temples, shrines, and cathedrals; they can see the carpeted floors, the padded pews and padded kneelers; they can see the lofty ceilings and dangling chandeliers; they can see their images of idols of worship on the floor or hanging on the walls; and they can see their ministers and priests standing in front of their eyes.  To them, seeing is believing.  For, if everything they see with their eyes were taken away, what would they have to believe?
   Walking in one's imagination is easy to do, for people do not have a problem with disagreeing with self.  We can easily achieve small tasks we see in our imaginations and leave the more difficult visions for another time, or ignore them entirely. 
   It is also easy to walk in the imaginations of others, for all we need to do is agree with them:  at which time we become like-minded.  By agreeing with them, their thoughts become our thoughts, their ways become our ways, and their words become our words:  after which we can become "witnesses" of the person we agreed with and tell others all about this person and his plans:  at which time, too, we can invite others to come on over and join us in our endeavor. 
   Politics is all about telling people what people like to hear. 
   Religion is also telling people what people like to hear.
   Please remember that man uses his imagination for man himself:  to exalt man, to exalt the works of man, and to exalt man in his own mind with the belief that he knows better than God, and that man can build his own way to heaven in his own way, which is why man created his institution of religion that has many branches, just as a tree has many branches from the same school of thought:  out of his "deceitful and desperately wicked heart"  ((Jeremiah 17: 19) in his war against God.
   To know Christ, people must stop walking in imagination and come out of religion and its imaginary world of fantasy and make-believe. 
      "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."  (2nd Corinthians 6: 17-18)

DIRT

   And man created religion in his own image, in his own image created he religion because man believes that man knows best that which is best for man.
   Beginning at the tower of Babel, man has created religions all across the face of the earth that reflect the image of man's gods and man's goddesses, which he stores in his temples, shrines, and cathedrals, and to these buildings pagans go to worship because the idols and images of idols never move.  They never leave the buildings.  They never return to the heavens and back again.  They never die for sin and they never are resurrected from death.  They simply sit on the floors, or hang on the walls.  They are like mannequins, all dressed up to go nowhere.  Yet the pagans adore them as they bend their knees and bow their heads in obedient worship.
   Obviously, religion is an institution instead of a living organism. 
   Obviously, too, people of the institution of religion are spiritually dead, yet they seek a place in the buildings to be revived again.
   We know that a tree is dead when the tree has no roots or leaves.  We also know that even water will not revive a dead tree to grow new roots, or new leaves.
   Religion, therefore, is the same as a dead tree in that it has no roots as well as no leaves.  By this we should also know that even water baptism out of the earth cannot revive a person that is spiritually dead.
   To be clear, religion is the place where people go to die even though the ministers and priests have people believing that they will live and walk in new life in a place called heaven if they will submit themselves to water baptism and believe in religion:  as if religion is the house of their salvation.

   "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life:  and man became a living soul."  (Genesis 2: 7)

   God created man out of the dust of the earth, man created religions, and because man is made out of the ground, his religions are also out of the ground and through man, which means that the value of man's religions are no greater than dirt; for just as man will return to dirt after death, his religions will fall with him as his religious houses will also return to dirt.
   Yet, millions of families throughout human history have devoted their lives to religion and to gods that do not exist, and all for a value that is worth no more than dirt.

   Jesus said,
      "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"  (Mark 8: 36-37)

EMMANUEL

    If God came to earth, would we believe He would reveal Himself in a human body, beginning as a baby in a woman's womb?
   We would likely say no.
   But that's exactly what He did.
      "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS:  for he shall save his people from their sins."  (Matthew 1: 21)

   If God came to earth and dwelt among us, would we believe He would allow men to crucify His body to a cross for the sins of the world?
   We would likely say no.
   But that's exactly what He did.
      "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  (John 3: 16)

  If God should resurrect His body from death and ascend to heaven, would we believe He will return in the same human body to gather His people unto Himself?
   We would likely say no.
   But that's exactly what He will do.
      "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."   (Acts 1: 11)

   "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

   "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written."  (John 21: 25)

Romans 8

   "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.
   For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made us free from the law of sin and death.
   For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
   That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
   For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
   For to be carnally minded is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
   So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
   But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.  Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
   And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
   But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
   Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
   For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
   For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
   The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
   And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
   For I reckon that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
   For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
   For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope;
   Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
   For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
   And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
   For we are saved by hope:  but hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
   Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
   And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
   And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
   For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be comformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
  Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called:  and whom he called, them he also justified:  and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
   What shall we say to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us?
   He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
   Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?  It is God that justifieth.
   Who is he that condemneth?  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
   Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?  shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
   As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
   Now, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
   For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

LITTLE TOWERS OF BABEL

   

   After the flood of  Noah, the religion at the tower of Babel was invented out of the imaginations of men, and, ever since that day, all religions upon the earth are inventions out of the imaginations of men; therefore, the tower of Babel was the birthplace of all religions on the face of the earth.

   "And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.  And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do:  and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.     Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.  So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth:  and they left off to build the city.  Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth:  and from there did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth."  (Genesis 11: 5-9)

   Not only have religions been a work out of the imaginations of men, but all of the gods and goddesses of all religions have also been manufactured out of the imaginations of men.
   None of these gods and goddesses are real, none of them are living, but they are perceived   to be real in the imaginations of people who believe in religions.
   All religions on the earth, moreover, have been built on the foundation of the same religious system that was laid at the tower of Babel, for all religions have the same elements of Babel---only they have been disguised in various ways, with various titles, and with various names for gods and goddesses and spread across the earth from nation to nation that began in various language groups, so that each nation---or language group---could have its own religion, with its own gods and goddesses, and with its own collection of "sacred" texts.
   Furthermore, all of religions' writings---their books, their laws, their rites and rituals---are also written out of the imaginations of men.
   The common ground that all religions share is found in the fact that all of them are against God, all of them are against Christ, and all of them are against the Bible.
   The Bible calls this system Babylon, and because all religions are out of Babylon, all of them are on the same team even though they appear to be operating independently.
   This post today is not only the story of the blind leading the blind, but it is also the story of the blind following  the blind.

      "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost; in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."  (2nd Corinthians 4: 3-4)

   Without the gospel of Christ, it is impossible  for people to believe in God and that God is living in heaven.
   Without the gospel of Christ, it is impossible  for people to believe that Christ died for sin, that He was resurrected from death, and that He ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father in heaven.
   Without the gospel of Christ, it is impossible for people to believe that the Bible is the word of the Lord from God in heaven.
    Consequently, all of the people in all of the religions of the world, as well as the leaders of all religions of the world, are blind  to the truth that abides in Christ Jesus, for Jesus said,
     
      "I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."  (John 14: 6)

   None of the gods or goddesses can say that because none of the gods and goddesses exist, for not one is alive or living:  for all of them are built in the imaginations of people from the imaginations from religions' founding fathers and transformed to the imaginations within their congregations by religions' ministers and priests.
  The only evidence they can offer is found in the images  of gods and goddesses, which are idols of stone or wood, pictures or portraits, which they have built by their own hands and out of their imaginations, and the only thing idols can do is sit on the floor or hang on the wall, yet having no ears to hear, no eyes to see, and no mouths to speak, while people will actually believe that these images are representatives of gods and goddesses even though they do not exist.
   How blind can people be!
   Even today, some of the most highly educated people in the world will fall on their knees in houses of religion and worship an image sitting on the floor or hanging on a wall, or an etching in a stained-glass window, such as in a temple, a shrine, and also a cathredral---with the mind of a toddler, who believes that Santa Claus is real.
  We also know that in some churches and Christian religions people will fall down on their knees and worship an image of Christ hanging on a cross while never saying a word about Him when they leave the buildings.
   Just how blind can they be!
   They are blind to the gospel of Christ because the Bible has been hidden from them within their own institutions where Christ has been transformed to no more than on image hanging on a wall.
   So we can see, then, that the religion of Babylon has entered and penetrated places that we call Christian churches, and the people within these places are the same as the people at the tower of Bable.  They are blind to the gospel of Christ because their leaders are also blind to the gospel of Christ, and this is the story of the blind leading the blind. 
  Sadly, all of these people teach their children to believe in the same Babylonian system, but disguised in the cloak of Christianity.
  These false churches, therefore, are little towers of Babel spread across the United States and in nations all over the world.
   To be saved by Christ, people must come out of Babylon.  They must come out of these little towers of Babel, for Jesus makes a plea unto them:

      "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities."  (Revelation 18: 4)

      "Neither is there salvation in any other: 
          for there is none other name
             under heaven
         given among men,
             whereby we must be saved."
                         (Acts 4: 12)

CASH COWS

  According to Forbes,  October 19, 2015, the money value of sports in America will reach $73.5 BILLION by 2019, and the Dallas Cowboys is currently the wealthiest sports franchise at $4.8 BILLION.

   COLLEGE SPORTS:
  According to Business Insider, October 14, 2016, 231 NCAA Division I colleges and universities generated $9.15 BILLION during the 2015 fiscal year.

   COLLEGE FOOTBALL:
   According to Sports Money, October 21, 2015, college football's three largest money makers were the University of Texas, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Tennessee.  These three produced a combined total of $300 million in the 2015 fiscal year.
   Nick Saban, head football coach at the University of Alabama, and Jim Harbaugh, head football coach at the University of Michigan, each earn more than $7 million per year---while college teachers earn a teacher's pay.

   HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL:
   In Allen, Texas, voters approved a referendum and built a $60 million state-of-the-art high school football stadium with 18,000 seats.
   According to dfwVarsity, the average salary of a high school football coach in the state of Texas is $98,668---while other teachers earn a teacher's pay.
   According to the Moultrie Observer, seventeen Georgia high school football coaches earn at least $100,000 per year, and the head football coach at Buford High School is paid $174,000 per year---while other teachers earn a teacher's pay.

   OUTSIDE THE LINES:
   According to a study at Georgetown University, the money value of religion in America is worth $1.2 TRILLION in the U.S. economy, which is more than Google and Apple combined.
   It is difficult to separate the wealth of churches from religions since world religions have churches and religions, and also because world religions also have branches in the United States.
   Therefore, here is a list of the world's top ten richest religions beginning with the wealthiest:

   #1  Roman Catholic Church
   #2  Islam
   #3  Judaism
   #4  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
   #5  The Church of England
   #6   Episcopalian
   #7   Televangelism
   #8   Protestantism
   #9   Freemasonary
   #10 The Church of Scientology

   What, then, do Americans value?
   Obviously, Americans value sports and Americans value religion because these are the places where they spend their money.  But in which order to Americans value most:  is sports first, or is religion first?
   I am reminded of a story in the second chapter of the book of Matthew in the Bible about the day when wise men came to Jerusalem in search of Jesus.

      "And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and worshipped him:  and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh."  (Matthew 2: 11)

   Jesus said,
      "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."          (Matthew 6: 21)

   As Christians, do we lay our treasures at the feet of Jesus, do we give our money to the cause of the Gospel of Christ, or do we give our money to the cash cows of sports and religion?

 
  

A LONE WOLF

   In many of the various shootings across America over the past five years, how many times have we been told that the shooter was a lone wolf?
   In many of the airplane crashes and train wrecks over the past five years, how many times have we been told that the pilots of these vehicles were lone wolves?
   When President John Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, in 1963, we were told that Lee Harvey Oswold operated independently, or as a lone wolf.
   To assassinate a U. S. President is perhaps the greatest feather an assassin could add to his bonnet of kills.  But how did Oswold know to be in the right place and at the right time to shoot President Kennedy?  Or did he have outside help with logistics and planning, or even the promise of a financial gain?
   When people think about Judas Iscariot, do they think of him as a lone wolf in his betrayal of Christ?
   Judas was influenced by thirty pieces of silver.  But what was the source of his financial gain?

   Jesus said,

     "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.."  (Matthew 7:  15)

   The men that assassinated Jesus were the priests of the temple of God in Jerusalem, and it was from these men that Judas received his reward to betray Christ.
   These men were false prophets.  They were pretending to be servants of God, but, in truth, they were servants of Satan---and so was Judas Iscariot, for his contract was with evil men.
   When people reject Christ, are they operating as lone wolves in their decisions, or have their minds been influenced from outside sources to render the same conclusion:  that Christ is not  the Savior of the world?
    How many of these influences have come from false prophets?---from ministers and priests of religions and false churches, just as Judas Iscariot was influenced by the false prophets in Jerusalem.
   How many, too, have been influenced by members of their own families, or from their best friends, who have sold their souls just as Judas Iscariot sold his soul?

   Jesus said,

      "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lost his own soul?  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"  (Mark 8:  36-37)

   What are your ministers and priests telling you about Jesus?

   What are your family members and best friends telling you about Jesus?

   Consider the sources of your information because your decision about Christ could also be a group decision, and you will be just as guilty of rejecting Christ as Judas Iscariot and the false prophets of Jerusalem.  

   The Bible says,

      "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."  (Hebrews 10: 31)

   Please consider your influences carefully because, after you die, your decision time is over; for then your soul will be in the hands of the living God.

A FINANCIAL TRINITY

   Governments and religions are the two greatest financial enterprises that man has built on the face of the earth.
   But the third part of a financial trinity must surely be sports.
   Even in the United States, college sports and professional sports rake in more money than any church or religion worldwide.
   It is the fans,  however, that enable both the players and these three institutions to grow and prosper; for, if people stopped giving their money, these three would collapse and fall because money  is the fuel that keeps their motors running.
  Consequently, it is the money from the fans of politics, the fans of religions, and the fans of sports that keeps their motors running, thereby enabling this financial trinity to divert the attention of people from the knowledge of God.

      "My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge:  because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me:  seeing that thou has forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.  As they were increased, so they sinned against me:  therefore will I change their glory into shame."                           (Hosea 4:  6-7)

   After all, do you know of any three topics in the conversations of people that are greater than politics, religions, and sports?
 
   Jesus said,

      "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."                                 (Matthew 6: 21)

   Common sense tells us that people talk about the things they love and cherish.
   Common sense also tells us that people give their money to the things they love and cherish.
   Obviously, millions and millions of people love and cherish the players and the institutions of governments, religions and sports, for these three receive more conversations and more money than any other players or institutions on the face of the earth.
   Rejecting Christ is in the hearts of billions of people because of this financial trinity more than any other place, and the evidence is clear:  where is Christ in the conversations of people today?
   Here in the United States, we say "one nation, under God". 
   But are we that one nation under God?
   If so, then where is the evidence in our conversations and in the giving of our money?
   What, then, is God saying to us out of heaven about Christ?

     "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased:  hear ye him."  (Matthew 17: 5)

  When was the last time you heard someone say they wanted to hear about Christ from the world of governments, religions, and sports?

     
 
   
  

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

   Other than President Martin Van Buren, the bloodline of all other U. S. Presidents has been traced to one man, King John of England, 1167-1216.
   How in the world is this possible?
   Is it possible that presidential elections have been fixed from George Washington down to Barack Obama?
   Now let us gather together and blame President Trump for everything that is wrong with the United States while laying no charge at the feet of any other U.S. President.
   It is easy for people to blame President Trump for everything that is wrong with America because Mr. Trump is visible  and therefore an easy target.  But because other Presidents are either dead or retired, they have been exempt from their responsibilities and all of their faults are now on Mr. Trump.  And the people, while accepting no responsibility for their personal issues or personal failures, also blame President Trump.
   Does this seem to be the way of people all across the United States:
      to blame others for everything that is wrong
         while escaping personal responsibility?
   Haven't we heard this before?

   There came a day in the garden of Eden when God said unto Adam,

      "Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldst not eat?
        And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
       And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? 
       And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat."  (Genesis 3: 11-13)

   Adam blamed Eve, Eve blamed the serpent, and the blame game has worked well for thousands of years, even for people in the United States.
   We can't blame ourselves, can we? 
   Not when we believe we are perfect and incapable of sin, thereby escaping personal responsibility.
   After all, people have invented easy solutions for sin, such as water baptism, or by simply believing that a man or a woman in priestly garments can forgive sin; and with methods as simple as these, what do people need God for?  And what do people need Christ for?---even though many say, "Jesus is the reason for the season".
   Where is God across American today?
   And where is Christ, the One we say we worship and adore at Christmas and at Easter?
   Could it be that,
   
      "He is not here, but is risen: 
           why seek ye the living
              among the dead?" 
                 (Luke 24: 5, 6)

 
   

HATERS OF GOD

   There is no nation on earth that exercises its right to freedom of speech to attack God, attack Christ, and attack the Bible more than this nation, the United States of America.
   Not only are these Americans proud of their hatred of God, Christ, and the Bible, but they are also proud to be among the masses of people to participate in the seasons of Christmas and Easter, which, to Christians, are holy days, but these days to them are simply holidays.
   These Americans are quick to spend their money on presents that their children so richly deserve, at Christmas as well as at Easter, but they also expect their parents and grand-parents to render unto them the gifts that will delight their hearts and fill the trunks of their cars as they drive home from the holidays.
   But then, as soon as the thrill of the holiday seasons are over, they quickly return to pointing their two-faced fingers at all the problems they see in churches as well as in Christians, and that we must be stupid to believe as we believe.
   Then, too, they are quick to say how much they love the people they say they love, as demonstrated by their hugs and kisses, while knowing that they have hatred in their hearts for God, Christ, and the Bible.
   In so doing, however, they are also training their children to be like them:  that they, too, will hate God, Christ, and the Bible, as much as themselves, and that they will have enjoyment in cursing the name of God and the name of Christ, just as they do as parents.
   On top of these things, many of these Americans actually desire to have their weddings and funerals conducted in churches where the Word of God is read by the ministers of God!
   Can you believe that?
   But then, as soon as "I do" or "ashes to ashes" have been spoken, their behaviors quickly return as their behaviors before:  hating God, Christ, and the Bible.
   Adam and Eve regretted the day when they ate fruit from the forbidden tree in the garden of Eden, but these Americans have no regrets while eating fruit from the same tree. 
   In fact, they enjoy  the taste of the knowledge of evil.
   They have no remorse for publicly denying God, Christ, and the Bible. 
   They experience no shame, guilt, or embarrassment for demonstrating their disrespect for churches and Christians.
   Christians do not hate haters of God, but, had it not been for Christ, haters of God would not hate Christians, which means they hate Christ first.
   Jesus said this would happen,
       "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
         If ye were of the world, the world would love his own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
        If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin; but now they have no cloak for their sin.
       He that hated me hateth my Father also."  (John 15: 18; 19; 22; 23)

ANTICIPATION

   After the resurrection of Jesus from death, we know the Lord lived on the earth forty days before His ascension to heaven.

      "To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:  and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth."  (Acts 1: 3, 8)

   We also know that the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples of Christ on the day of Pentecost exactly ten days later, which was fifty days after the Lord's resurrection.

      "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."  (Acts 2: 1-2)

   God gives us signs so that we will know that something will happen from God out of heaven after the sign.  While we do not know what will exactly happen after the sign, we can, however, anticipate events to unfold according to God's plan.  As true believes in Christ, all we need to do is trust in God.

   From the solar eclipse sign of August 21, 2017, until September 30th is forty days, and from August 21 until October 10 is fifty days.

   Therefore,

      Should we anticipate something important to happen on September 30th, which is forty days from the solar eclipse sign?

      Should we anticipate something important to happen on October 10th, which is fifty days from the solar eclipse sign?

      Or, should we anticipate something important to happen on both days?

JUNGLE BOOK THEOLOGY

   There was a time when news journalists sought the truth, and they would not report their stories until they had received confirmation of the truth from at least one or two sources.
   Today, however, perhaps it is fair to say that most news journalists have no interest in truth, for they are just like politicians and heads of religions:  neither of which seeks the truth.
   These three---journalists, politicians, heads of religions---know  they are not telling the truth, for they know they are telling people exactly what people want to hear; and the people everywhere, nonetheless, believe in the journalists, politicians, and heads of religions, for they have found three sources that are in agreement with their own hearts.
   For these three and the people following them have exchanged the truth of God for a lie and they are proud of it:

      "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.  Amen."  (Romans 1: 25)

      "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  
        If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
       If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."  (1st John 1: 8-10)

   In truth, they have their ears tuned to jungle book theology, for their belief is in the Serpent, rather than believing in the Son of God, who is Jesus Christ our Lord.

NOVOCAINE

   I am inclined to believe that the hearts of millions of Americans have been injected with novocaine, thereby deadening them to any pain that they could feel for the victims of earthquakes and hurricanes.
  Still, Americans look to television to tell them the news, for they believe in the word of television more than they believe in the word of God.  We have been warned that this would happen:

      "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:  and they shall wander from sea to see, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it."  (Amos 8: 11-12)

   We know the Bible is used in churches as well as for weddings and funerals, but, after that, where is the Bible in American families today?
   Even now, how many Americans are like children:  still walking on the Yellow Brick Road in search of the great the powerful Oz to give them everything they need:  courage, a brain, and a heart?  For it is clear that many Americans lack all three.

     "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things."  (1st Corinthians 13: 11)

   But with the iPhone, it is also clear that Americans have not put away childish things, especially with their prideful selfies that they post online as well as photos of their childish pursuits for fun, and sports, and entertainment:  with a little religion on the side for good looks, or for good luck.
   Therefore, because Americans are blinded to the truth of God's word, they do not see this once great and powerful nation falling down in front of their eyes; for they choose to believe that this nation will continue as it as it has continued ever since our founding fathers fell asleep.

    "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient."  (Romans 1: 28)

   A reprobate mind is a mind that is void of the knowledge of God, yet even reprobates will use the Bible for weddings and funerals to be legal and proper according to ceremonial rituals.  But after these events are over, the Bible disappears as the reprobates return for another injection of novocaine; for the Bible, to them, is no more than a collection of fables and fairytales deep in their dead hearts.

   "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."  (2nd Corinthians 4: 3-4)

   

   

A WORLD WITHOUT LOVE

   Jesus said,
      "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."  (Matthew 24: 14, 21)

   God has His way of getting the attention of people, but, for millions of people, however, it will take the great tribulation to get their attention:  for these are the people who will be left behind after the rapture.

   After the rapture, the great tribulation will begin, the New World Order will seize control of people everywhere, and where will love be on the face of the earth?

   During this time, church buildings across America and around the world will be converted to pagan temples and the worship of Satan will be the religion of the day.  Bibles will be confiscated and burned. 

      "And they had a king to rule over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."  (Revelation 9: 11)

   Lazarus had been dead four days when Jesus arrived at his funeral, during which time Jesus said,
   
      "I am the resurrection, and the life:  he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  and whosever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.  Believeth thou this?"  (John 11: 25-26)

   During the great tribulation, many people will be given a second chance.  They will suddenly remember all the times they had heard about Christ, but rejected him, and many will believe in Christ and be saved from their sin.  But these people will pay the ultimate price and be killed by Satan's army of assassins.

      "And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest.  And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white with the blood of the Lamb.  Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple:  and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them."  (Revelation 7: 13-15)

TRACKING THE SIGN

   

 

   The solar eclipse of August 21, 2017, was a sign from God out of heaven for America and America only.
   The eclipse entered the United States in Oregon, the 33rd state, and exited South Carolina at the 33rd parallel, and the time from August 21 to September 23 is 33 days.
   Jesus lived 33 years.
   One name for God, which is Elohim, is mentioned 33 times in the Bible book of Genesis.
   Number 33 in the Bible means the promises of God.
   The International Space Station is tracking the sign for September 23, 2017, and we can be sure that the Vatican Observatory in Arizona is tracking the sign with its L.U.C.I.F.E.R. infrared telescope.
   Therefore, Satan's ministers, dressed in their fancy suits and priestly garments, know that something significant will happen on September 23 while Americans from shore to shore are watching the games that people play with their eyes firmly fixed on television and iPhones.
   Please remember:
      the people most likely to influence you not to believe in the Bible will be the people who have never read the Bible;
      the people most likely to influence you not to believe in Christ will be your best friends and family members;
      the people most likely to influence you to cling to that tree of religion will be the people you believe and trust the most, who are your best friends and family members;
      most of all, the people who will deceive you the most are those who have been deceived already, your best friends and family members.
   We now have but four days before the sign of September 23 is given. 
   What are you going to do then?
   What are you going to believe?
   These next four days could very well be God's last call.

   "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."  (2nd Corinthians 6: 17-18)
   

SECRECY

   Please remember that the trial of Jesus was conducted in secrecy because the priesthood of Israel did not want the people to know their plans to crucify the Lord.
   Jesus was arrested in darkness, His mock trial began in darkness, and He was taken to Pontius Pilate in darkness.
   So while Jerusalem slept, Jesus was being prepared for execution; and by the time the people stopped for lunch, Jesus was nailed to a cross.
   Many people will be surprised to learn that the government of the United States has been a secret operation since before the signing of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights by men in secret societies such as the Illuminati, Skull & Bones, Freemasonry, the Order of Jesuit Priests, which is the secret army of the Pope, and all other governments of nations worldwide.
   Prominent names of men in these secret societies include Kennedy, DuPont, Bush, and Kerry, just to name four.
   Therefore, we should be able to see and believe that the same men who built America will also destroy America because they are secret ministers of the Sun God, who is Satan, who is also known by the name Saturn.
   And the fall of America will come quickly.

       "Therefore shall her plagues come in ONE DAY, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire  for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.  And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see her burning, standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in ONE HOUR is thy judgment come."  (Revelation 18: 8-10)
 
    "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakes of her sins, and that ye receive none of her plagues."  (Revelation 18: 4)

  What are we to learn from the Bible today?
  The word of the Lord is saying come to Christ today and be saved from your sins so that you will not be judged when Babylon U.S.A. falls.
   Jesus said,
      "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."  (Revelation 22: 12)

ALWAYS ON MY MIND

   Had it not been for the resurrection of Jesus from death, the whole world would have never heard of Him.
   Had it not been for the resurrection of Jesus from death, the New Testament of the Bible would have never been written.
   Had it not been for the resurrection of Jesus from death, there would have never been any churches anywhere in the world.
   And, had it not been for the resurrection of Jesus from death, there would have never been a holiday season that we call Christmas.
   Jesus has received more attention, or publicity, than any person, either dead or living, in human history.
   Up close and personal, let me tell you something:  I would have never confessed to God that I am a sinner, and I would have never invited Jesus into my heart to save me from my sins, if I had thought that Jesus was just a dead man.  Because I believe that Jesus is alive and is in heaven, however, and because I believe He has saved me from my sins, Jesus is on my mind every hour of every day.
   But what about you?  What do you believe? 
   Can you name one person, either dead or living, who is on your mind every hour of every day?   
   Can you name one person, either dead or living, who has received more attention, or publicity, than Jesus?
   Have you ever heard of people talking about a dead man, who can come into their hearts and save them from their sins while the bones of these dead people are still in the dirt?
   Therefore, if you will confess to God that you are a sinner, and if you will invite Jesus to come into your heart to save you from your sins, Jesus will be on your mind every hour of every day.

      "Wherefore God hath highly exalted him, and given him a name that is above every name:  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."  (Philippines 2: 9-11)

HURRICANE WARS

 The United States is currently
under an attack of hurricane
wars.

   Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have landed, hurricane Jose will be here on Monday, and two more hurricanes are forming in the sea.
   How long will Americans continue to sleep through the storms?
   How long will Americans continue to play the games that people play?
   How long will Americans continue to live in blindness  and not be able to read the writing that is on the wall?

      "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.  
           This is the interpretation of the thing:
           MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
           TEKEL; Thou are weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
           PERES; Thy kingdom is divided,
           and given to the Medes and Persians."  (Daniel 5: 25-25)
        
     "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."  (Romans 10: 9)

BE PREPARED

    Perhaps it would be wise for people

living in the Mid-Atlantic and the      Northeast States to be prepared for hurricane Jose.
  If Jose should die at sea, however, nothing will be lost; but if Jose stands up and marches to the shore, people could lose all of their possessions as well as their lives and the lives of their children.
  With 56 million people huddled together in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast States, that is like mice in a chimney, and, if Jose is a Cat 3 hurricane, the loss of life could be enormous.

   Jesus said,
       "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming upon the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."  (Luke 21: 25-26)

  The reason God gives us signs is because God wants us to be informed and to know that things are coming on the earth.
  The solar eclipse on August 21 was a sign from God out of heaven; and, in less than one month, look at the billions of dollars of destruction and loss of life in Texas, Florida, and Georgia up to Atlanta.
   This should clearly be a lesson learned about the wrath of hurricanes. 
   But if people view Jose as just a little disturbance out in the sea and with nothing to be concerned about, they could easily be deceiving themselves and will not be prepared for hurricane Jose.
   This choice, of course, is up to people; but if they are wrong, they could also be buried in the water, even as far north as New York City.

   Again, Jesus said,
      "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."  (John 8: 32)

   The signs given to us from God out of heaven are truth, and people should therefore be prepared.

STORMS ACROSS AMERICA

   As you awaken each morning, and as your feet touch the floor, how much time passes before you think about your husband or wife, your boyfriend or girlfriend, or your children?
   How much time passes before you think about last night's football or baseball game, or some silly sitcom show you watched on television?
   How much time passes before you think about that certain person who always crawls under your skin at work and pesters you all the day long, and how you dread going to work all because of one person who seems destined to wreak your day?
   Could it be that your day begins by thinking about YOU and not others?

   Jesus said,
      "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also?"  (Matthew 6: 21)

  Obviously, the things we treasure are the things we love, for the things we love are our talking points of the day.
   Obviously, too, we must admit that hurricanes Harvey and Irma have the attention of millions of Americans, and these are their talking points of the day.  But in the midst of these storms, how many people, however, are still concerned about the things they treasure, which are the things they love, and their attention, even this morning, is still on last night's football and baseball games and those silly sitcom shows they watched on television last night?
   Even on Sunday, just two days ago, people gathered in party huts and in their homes to root, root, root for their teams while hurricane Irma was bashing Florida. 
   Clearly, their hearts are in the things they treasure, which are the things they love, as their eyes were glued to their idols of the arenas.
   Could it be that God is bringing these storms across America to get the attention of a nation?  A nation that has forgotten God for all the many blessings we have received for more than two hundred years?
   These storms certainly have the attention of millions of evacuees, but, for millions of others, their attention is still on last night's baseball and football games, or those silly sitcom shows they watched on television as if the hurricanes are not a big deal and nothing to worry about.
   Above all else and most importantly, how much time passes each morning before you think about God?  And how much time passes before you begin to pray to meet your day?
   If not God, and if prayer to Him is not important to meet your day, then could it be that God does not have your attention because God is not your treasure, or the one you love?
   Therefore, if these hurricanes are not enough to get the attention of a nation, what will God do next?

   "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  But if we walk in the light, as he is the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."  (1st John 1: 6-7)

  America must choose.

   "Choose you this day whom you will serve; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."   (Joshua 24: 15)



      

JOSE

   In twenty-days since the solar eclipse of August 21st, hurricanes Harvey and Irma have struck American money pits in Houston, Florida, and today in Atlanta, while hurricane Jose could be knocking on our door off the east coast by Saturday.
   Jose is a Biblical name and the meaning is:  Raised; one who Pardons.
   In the Bible, the name is usually associated with the name Joseph (JOSEph), and Joses is used many times in the New Testament; in fact, one of the half-brothers of Jesus is recorded as Joses in the New Testament.
   Is the name in hurricane Jose a sign from God that He will pardon?
   For the Bible says,

      "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."  (2nd Chronicles 7: 14)

PROUD TO BE AMERICAN

   The United States is a proud nation and Americans are proud to be American.
   Even though we have nothing to do with our births, we are proud of our skin colors and ethnicities, such as proud to be Irish, German, French, English, Hispanic, African-American, Asian-American, etc.
   We are proud to be men, proud to be women, proud to be transgender, and proud to be LBGTQ.
   We are proud to be married, male and female, and proud to have companions for life without marriage.
   We are also proud of our prideful nation where men marry men and women marry women, or at least have companionships for life.
   We are proud of our sports and entertainment programs and the stars of the shows that we idolize and with the desire that our children will grow up to be like them.
   We are proud of our beauty contests that begin in kindergarten where little girls are paraded on stages and all dressed up in mommy's clothes as living dolls.
   Above all else, I suppose, I should therefore be proud to be me and proud that I am not like you.
   The laundry list of our prideful ways can go on and on and on.
   While we have IN GOD WE TRUST stamped on our money for all the world to see, yet how many proud Americans trust in money more than they trust in God?
   Unless people retain the knowledge of God in their minds and in their hearts, they will live their lives as if God does not exist. 
   This behavior is abundantly clear in America because we are proud of all that money can do for us:  while leaving God on the outside looking in.  Because of pride, however, people do not even know that God is looking in because pride will erase the knowledge of God from their own minds.
   Where is God in the United States today?
   The United States has been blessed with more Bibles than any nation in human history, but where are the Bibles today, and why have Americans hidden the word of the Lord from themselves as well as from their on children?
   Because of pride! 
   We are proud that we can do everything our own way and proud to believe that even God does not exist:  because, after all, we are proud to be American and we are not ashamed to stand up and say so---while grinding the faces of people in the sand who dare say they believe in God, believe in Christ, and believe in the Bible.

   "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:  there is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.  
     They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
     There is no fear of God before their eyes."   (Romans 3: 10-12; 18)

THE ROMAN ROAD

   "As it is written,
        There is none righteous, no, not one: 
        there is none that understandeth,
        there is none that seeketh after God."   
                  (Romans 3: 10-11)

   "For all have sinned
         and come short
            of the glory of God."
                  (Romans 3: 23)

   "For the wages of sin is death;
        but the gift of God
           is eternal life
        through Jesus Christ our Lord."
                (Romans 6: 23)

   "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus
        and believe in thine heart
            that God hath raised him from the dead,
               thou shalt be saved.
     For with the heart
        man believeth unto righteousness;
           and with the mouth
              confession is made unto salvation."
                 (Romans 10: 9-10)

   "For whosever shall call upon the name
         of the Lord shall be saved."
                 (Romans 10: 13)

   "So then faith
        cometh by hearing
           and hearing
              by the word of the Lord."

THE TRUMP OF GOD

   I believe when the trump of God sounds,
      as we are told in 1st Thessalonians 4: 16,
   the whole world will hear it,
      and "every eye shall see him", 
   according to Revelation 1: 7.

      "Behold, he cometh with clouds;
  and every eye shall see him,
  and they also which pierced him:

  and all kindreds of the earth shall  wail because of him.  Even so, Amen.  
   I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."                                     
(Revelation 1: 7-8)

 
   

THE DAYS OF NOAH

   Jesus said,

      "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."                               (Matthew 24: 37-39)

   With hurricanes Harvey and Irma, God is knocking down our party huts and temple pleasures, and the worst of things to come on the United States is yet to come.

   To begin, America's religion of sports is falling to the ground because people have been worshipping the idols of sports for at least a hundred years and thereby robbing God of the glory that has been due to Him.

   Because of the water from hurricane Harvey and with Irma's water still on the way, North America will have not seen this much water on the ground since Noah's flood.

   As Irma continues her current projected track, and if her tropical winds reach Atlanta with its abundance of trees crashing down on electrical power lines, Atlanta will be in the dark for weeks, or even for months. 

   Now with the arenas of sports closed across Florida, Atlanta, and Charlotte, there will be no more games in most places east of the Mississippi River.  Therefore, perhaps we will see the seasons of the National Football League, college football, and Major League Baseball grind to a halt.

   So far, several million people have evacuated Florida and south Georgia to the north. 

   In another week or maybe two, this exodus will produce an abnormal shift in supply and demand for food, fuel, and fresh water. 

  With evacuees out of jobs, their money will come to and end. What will families do then to feed themselves and their children?

  Restaurants, super markets, and gas stations will see a glut, and medical services will buckle under the strain to treat sick and hurting people.

  Unemployment lines will be a disaster with people waiting for ever to get financial relief.  Tempers will flare and chaos and disorder will be the way of the day.  We could see Marshal Law imposed across the United States because we are seeing only the beginning of things to come upon our nation.

   America has never seen an age like this before, yet the Lord told us this time would come, and it is here now.

   Today is a very good time to cry out to God and say,

   

   "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid.  For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion:  in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me upon a rock."  (Psalm 27: 1, 5)

  The days of Noah are here now, so what should we be doing?
  We should be looking for the return of Christ!  For Jesus said,
      "But as the days of Noah were before the flood...so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

AMERICA'S GAMES

   An ice storm in Atlanta many years ago knocked out electrical power for most of the metro area while radio and television stations had power because of electrical generators.
   During a radio talk show, however, a woman called in to complain about not having:  her cable TV.
   On this day, September 9, Major League Baseball and college football are continuing as normal with the pennant races and "the run for the wild card" prevalent in minds of millions of Americans---even with  all of the red flags that blowing in the wind because of hurricane Irma.
   "Maybe the hurricane won't be that bad," they say.
   "We have survived hurricanes before," they say.
   But this nation has never seen four hurricanes coming to America in the same hurricane season; yet this news does not appear to bother many people as they are saying, "Let the games go on."
   Nevertheless, the games go on and people still have their cable TV.
   On Monday night, September 11, Monday Night Football comes to town and millions of heads will turn to television to watch America's idols play a football game.
   Or will they?
   What do you suppose will happen if the electrical power grid goes down and the fans will not have their cable TV?
   The solar eclipse on August 21 was a sign from God out of heaven, telling us of events that are coming upon the earth.  Many Americans recognized the sign and have made preparations for the storms that are coming to America---while millions of Americans have done nothing,  still dreaming and hoping that the storms will not be that bad, or that we can take it again, as we have taken other storms before, and we can still have America's games without interruption.
   Or maybe they are trusting in their gods to hear their prayers.
 
   "But our God is in the heavens; he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.  Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.  They have mouths to speak, but they speak not:  eyes they have, but they see not.  They have ears, but they hear not:  noses they have, but they smell not.  They have hands, but they handle not:  feet they have, but they walk not:  neither do they speak through their throat.  They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.  O, Israel, trust thou in the LORD:  he is their help and their shield."  (Psalm 115: 3-9)
   

THEY'RE COMING TO AMERICA

   Jesus said,

       "There shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming upon the earth:   for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."   (Luke 21: 25-26)
     
  The solar eclipse on August 21 was a sign from God out of heaven, telling us that events are coming upon the earth.
   First came hurricane Harvey, and now hurricane Irma is knocking on America's door.
   More than this, hurricanes Katia and Jose are currently gathering steam out in the Atlantic on the heels of hurricane Irma.
   Where are these hurricanes going?
   They're coming to America.
   What can the people of the United States say to God when this nation leads the world in the production and distribution of pornography?
   What can we say to God when pedophilia against our children is out of control?
   What can we say to God when we have provided sanctuary cities for robbers, murderers, and traffikers of drugs and human traffikers of women and children for sex, drugs, and pornography?
   The list of our nation's sins can go on and on, but people do not want to admit that they are sinners while our country is bearing the fruit of our nation's sowing.
   We say "God Bless America", but somewhere along the way we forgot about God and exchanged our foundational belief for thrills and parties and entertainment and sports.
   But take a look at us now and see what we have done to our country:  our nation is falling because we have destroyed the United States from within.
   For even this week people have lost no interest in entertainment, nor in football and baseball games even with "the sea and waves roaring".

      "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.  (Romans 1: 18)

  But immediately after Jesus tells us of things to come,
      in Luke 21: 25-26,
         what does He tell us next?

      "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."  (Luke 21: 27-28)
