TEXTBOOKS

     You are a walking, talking textbook of the words of your mind.
     Words are like seeds, and when words are dropped in your mind, they root and grow.  The more you irrigate those words, the deeper the roots become embedded in your mind, they become as trees, and the fruit you pull from those trees are the words you speak and the words you live.
     If you are a negative person, your garden has been sown with negative words.
     If you are a religious person, then the words of religion have been sown in your mind, they have rooted and grown, bearing fruit, and you are a walking, talking textbook of your religion.
     This same principle applies to all other topics we can discuss, and your textbook is the language you speak and live by.  In fact, you think in this language.
     If the words of your mind are lies, you can live and speak those words, too, because you were taught to believe those words as truth.
     Therefore to change your mind about something, and speak and live in another direction, then you must learn words from another textbook.  This is not always easy to do for you must throw off the old, take on the new, which requires new discipline.
     When you arrive in the Word of God, you are entering a book that is unlike any book on the face of the earth.  For the Word of God is the Word of Truth:  the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
     Learning from the Word of God also requires discipline.  And to learn to speak and walk in the Word of Truth, you must be able to throw off all other textbooks and engraft these words into your mind, where they will root and grow and you will pull fruit from the knowledge of God.
     The Word of God will help you to have a healthier mind, a healthier body, and a healthier soul, for people who read and study the Word of God have less mental depression than many other people,  they also have healthier outlooks on life, and they have more happiness, more joy, and more peace.
     By knowing the Word of God, you will also be confident in knowing that you know the future because the Author wrote the history of the future.  Not only this, but you can become a walking, talking textbook for God, a representative of the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the universe.
    Any person on earth can do this if they will simply change their mind about the Lord Jesus Christ, and He will help you to do this if all you will be willing to do is pray.  After which, you will begin to write a new textbook about your life.
