TITANIC U.S.A.

   On April 10, 1912, it is said that the band played on as theTitanic  was sinking to the bottom of the sea.
    The Titanic  experienced a tribulation in the North Sea because the pilot could not see the icebergs that were hidden in the darkness.  More than 1500 people perished that day in icy waters while just over 700 survived to tell about it when the ship struck an iceberg at 11:40 p.m.

     Jesus said,
         "For then there shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."  (Matthew 24: 21)

    Jesus also said,

        "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."                      (Matthew 24: 37-39)

   In my previous blog post, as I described the United States as A PARTY NATION, perhaps we should stop here and ask the question:  How many Americans are living in a party state of mind?

   So that, before working or after working, before anything else or after anything else, people are thinking and saying:  Let's have a party!  Let us eat, drink, and be merry, forget about our troubles and our woes, let us have a party and dance the night away while the bands play on.

  While not knowing the danger of the darkness, they do not see the tribulation waters that is all around them, which impairs them to see that the Titanic---which is the United States--- is sinking to the bottom of the sea beneath their feet.

   Jesus said,
      "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth:  for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  (Luke 21: 25-26)

   The solar eclipse of August 21, 2017, was a sign from God out of heaven to let us know that "things are coming on the earth".  
   Hurricane Harvey is the evidence of "the sea and the waves roaring", while another piece of evidence is the tropical storm that is hitting the east coast as God is bringing more flood waters on Titanic U.S.A.
   Feat not, however, for now is the time and now is the place for people to come to know Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

                            "for there is none other name
                                  under heaven
                                    given among men
                             whereby we must be saved."
                                       (Acts 4: 12)
