"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for SIGNS, and for seasons, and for days, and for years: (Genesis 1: 14)
There came a day in Jerusalem when Pontius Pilate presided as judge following the trial of Jesus.
"When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him saying, Have nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things in a dream because of him." (Matthew 27: 19)
Obviously, Pontius Pilate ignored the SIGN from God in heaven, which was the note from his wife, and Pilate said, "Let him be crucified." (Matthew 27: 23)
"And this shall be a SIGN unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And they came with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger." (Luke 2: 12, 16)
"And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye unto the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover." (Mark 14: 13, 15, 16)
Obviously, the SIGN that Jesus gave the two disciples was the man bearing a pitcher of water. There came a day in Jerusalem when Pontius Pilate presided as judge following the trial of Jesus.

Therefore, it should be easy to understand that, if people ignore the Bible's billboards, which are SIGNS from God in heaven, they will say as Pontius Pilate said, "let him be crucified"---after which,
"There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and you yourself thrust out." (Luke 13: 28)
But!
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10: 9)
"for there is none other name
under heaven
given among men
whereby we must be saved."
(Acts 4: 12)
