Because I have learned to look at baseball from both sides now, I can study the facts and understand the reasons teams lose.
Baseball fans, however, look at the fantasy and do not like people like me for pointing out the facts for their team's loss: after which they will get caught up in anger which allows their emotions to blind their eyes from seeing the truth.
In like manner, people of religion also believe in the fantasy, then they will get caught up in the emotion of anger that blinds their eyes from seeing the truth that is in Christ Jesus.
"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (2nd Corinthians 4: 3-4)
