A man or a woman without God will always desire to control and dominate the lives of other people, to be boss, or to be bossy. When they do not get their way, they get mad and cuss a little bit. You may not hear them cuss, but, oh, they do! They cannot stand it when others dare to disagree with them.
For this reason, religion is the house of angry people, and they are angry at God.
As stated previously and many times, religion is the invention of men.
Moreover, all of their gods and goddesses are creations out of their imaginations. None of these gods and goddesses are real, but the ministers and priests persuade their congregations to believe they are real, which deceives them to believe that they have a better way than God's way, and that their way to heaven is better than God's way.
Return to Jerusalem and you will see how religion and politics worked together to kill Christ. Ever since that day, religion and politics have continued to work together to keep the knowledge of Christ hidden from people: as well as to keep people believing that Christ is still dead. For this reason, an image of a dead man on a cross is a reminder---or a subliminal message---that reminds people that Christ did not arise from death.
Thus we can see that both religion and politics are institutions of angry people, for they desire that man should rule over the earth instead of God.
Secretly, however, religion and politics are silent partners, for both are against God. For just as the religious priests in Jerusalem operated in secrecy with Pontius Pilate to crucify Christ, their program since day has never changed.
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." (Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14)
