Religion is simply a system of laws, rules, and regulations, rites and rituals, and all religions of the world are systems of laws, rules, and regulations, and rites and rituals.
To accept a religion simply means that you have agreed to accept the laws, rules, and regulations that govern your religion---which is not the same as the laws of Almighty God, Creator of the universe.
Each religion has a god---which is not the same as Almighty God, Creator of the universe. Therefore, if you say you believe in god, you are saying that you believe in the god of your religion---which is not the same as Almighty God, Creator of the universe.
Because each religion of the world is an invention out of the imaginations of men, Almighty God is not part of these religions, for these religions were not created for the worship of Almighty God, but rather as a place of worship for the god of their own invention. Neither does Almighty God mix Himself with man's religions because God is holy, whereas man's religions are unholy.
But people can believe that they are believing in God because of the deception that reigns in their religion: which is precisely the desire of the ministers and priests of a religion want people to believe. Or do they?
For example, the Catholic Church of Rome was created out of the imaginations of men to be a fake Christian church; and people were told that to be a true Christian, then they must accept the Catholic way of laws, rules and regulations, rites and rituals; and because of fear, or ignorance (or both) people converted to the Catholic way.
At the same time, the Catholic Church taught that people are infidels if they do not convert to the Catholic way.
The religion of Islam is just like the Catholic Church in two ways: One: Islam teaches that all people should worship Allah; and two: Islam teaches that people are infidels if they do not convert to the Islamist way.
Is this saying that Catholics should not be Catholic, nor that Islamists should not be Islamists? Of course not! Because Almighty God gives us free will: the freedom to choose. Therefore, Catholics have the free will to be Catholics, just as Islamists have the free will to be Islamist.
But is it right for the Catholic Church to say that only true Christians are Catholic? According to the Catholic Church's law, yes. But there are Christians who do not accept the Catholic Church's law. So then, are Christian who do not accept the Catholic Church's view that (only true Christians are Catholic) considered to be infidels? Yes.
Therefore, if you do not accept Catholicism or Islamism, you are considered to be an infidel according to the laws that govern these two institutions. But these laws are not according to the law of Almighty God, Creator of the universe.
The religions of the world are nothing more than religious dictatorships, and the leaders of all the religions of the world are playing god with the souls of men, women, and children. They have convinced people to believe in their laws, rules, and regulations, and rites and rituals, and the people of religions look to their leaders as gods: trusting in them to know what is best for themselves and for their children. These religious gods are preventing people from believing in Almighty God, Creator of the Universe, and they know exactly what they are doing because they are false prophets, which means they are representing Satan: and they know it. To them, believing in Jesus as the baby of Christmas, or as a prophet, is permitted, but they do not want their people to believe in Christ for their salvation. Neither do they want their people to believe that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Therefore, Almighty God will judge false prophets and false teachers:
WOE be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 23: 1, 3)
