Saul was King of Israel and Saul disobeyed the word of the Lord. For this cause, God sent Samuel the prophet to deliver a message to King Saul:
And Samuel said, Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. (I Samuel 15: 22, 23)

Do you suppose these books are the works of the imaginations of people simply for fun and games and entertainment? No, they are real. And the reality of these books is disguised in colorful characters, or of people with star power from Hollywood's abyss.
Next, take a look at the shelf space that is devoted to CDs, DVDs, movies, and video games about this same subject of Witchcraft. Do you suppose these works are simply for fun and games and entertainment? No, they are real.
Furthermore, look at the television programs that are coming into your home that are about witches and wizards, warlocks and demons, in animated childrens' movies and programs, and the actors are colorful and innocent-looking characters.
The growth and expansion of Witchcraft and idolatry in America is because millions of people do not know the difference between God and Satan. And because people do not know God, neither do they know evil.
Americans are spending millions and millions of dollars to learn about Witchcraft and to teach children this evil religion from the mind of Satan.
Witchcraft has increased in the United States and God has decreased. As Witchcraft continues to enlarge itself and take control of the minds of people, this nation will continually be visited by evil---in various ways and in various places. And there is nothing that we can do to prevent this tidalwave of evil from flooding across the land, from sea to shining sea.
God can help us, however. But do we really want God's help? If we do, then we should turn to II Chronicles 7: 14 and obey the word of the Lord. But if we as a nation do not want God's help, then we are just like King Saul, which means that our nation is in disobedience to the word of God. And if we remain in disobedience to God, we are just like King Saul, and this nation will die. God will take the kingdom of our nation and give it to a king that does not know God. As this king arises, this nation will fall, and the United States will no longer be a sovereign nation, we will no longer be a global power, and we will have a ruthless and evil dictator to rule over us. We will no longer be free. Our flag and our Constitution will come tumbling down.
As a nation, the United States has two choices: we can either return to God, or we can continue to reject God; and by rejecting God, the Lord will also reject us.
At present, we are in imminent danger. We are being invaded by evil from within, not from an enemy at the gates. We are in a state of self-destruction, and our wounds are self-inflicted.
As adults, we have spiritual responsibility for our children and grand-children across our nation. Are we teaching them about God, or are they feasting at the feet of evil? If we desire to change our hearts for God, we must act quickly. We cannot wait, nor linger.
Today's topic will not go away; neither will it disappear.
Please remember: God will fight our battle for us, and He will intervene on our behalf: if we will simply invite Him.
