Sin is an invisible wall that separates us from God.
But Christ came over the wall to die for our sin, and we, as we trust in Christ for the forgiveness of our sin, are now one with God the Father in heaven.
For now the invisible wall has disappeared.
For now we are online with God.
For now we have direct access to God the Father in heaven.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2: 8-9)
Knowing this, we no longer worship idols.
Knowing this, we no longer believe in the images of idols, such as portraits, pictures, or photographs.
Knowing this, we no longer need lucky charms, such as a rabbit's foot, a four-leaf clover, or a trinket dangling on a necklace.
Knowing this, we no longer pray to the souls of dead people whose bones are still in the dirt.
And for the first time, because Christ came over the wall, we experience the love of God.
Because Christ came over the wall, we now have the love of God that is in Christ also in us.
For now it is this love of God, abiding in us, that compels us to share Christ with others, so that they, too, can experience the love of God through Christ Jesus the Lord, and to be joyful for them because of their trust in Christ for their salvation.
Because Christ came over the wall, we can now believe that the Bible is the Word of the Lord; and as we read the Word of the Lord, we begin the process of filling our minds with the knowledge of God. For it is the Word of the Lord that enables us and strengthens us to begin this new journey in life: a new way of living, a new way of walking, and a new way of talking.
Because of our faith in Christ, we are now enabled to believe in things not seen; for even Christ is also invisible, but, because of our belief, we know He is real: for it is Christ who did for us that which we are incapable of doing for ourselves.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4: 12)
If you have trusted in Christ today, then let me say welcome to the family of God!
