If I should pray to the souls of dead people, whose bones are still in the dirt, then I would be no different than the pagans of ancient Babylon, Egypt, Greece, or Rome, and my religion would be no better or no worse than any other religion under the sun, and I would be kneeling to gods that only exist in my imagination.
Had Jesus remained dead, He would have been no different than the founder of any other movement, and He would have been no different than any other dead man. For all the people of religion have to believe is the hope they have in dead men, whose bones are still in the dirt.
Over the past two thousand years, Christians have been killed for believing in Christ---not only because Christ died, but because He arose from death!
Christians are the only people on earth who do not pray to a dead man's bones still in the dirt.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God. (1st Corinthians 1: 18)
