The people of religion have been bewitched by the witchdoctors of religion, who are the ministers and priests of Satan. The people are believing in a system that is not real, and the people are praying to gods and goddesses that are not real. Their idols and images of their gods and goddesses are not real: for they have never lived, and neither are they living now. But because the people have been bewitched, they believe their religions are real, and they also believe their gods and goddesses are real in their own imaginations because they have believed in lies as truth.
O, how foolish people are to believe that gods of stone can hear and answer prayer!
O, how foolish people are to believe that the image of a god or goddesses, such as a statue, portrait, or photograph, can hear and answer prayer!
O, how foolish people are to believe that the souls of dead people can hear and answer prayer!
