Deception thrives when people believe truth is a lie and a lie is truth.
When I first learned the truth about Santa Claus, I did not want to believe it. Instead, I wanted to continue to believe that the little fat man from the North Pole was real and that people were wrong.
Evil thrives when good people do nothing---when we become like the three monkeys: we turn our eyes, close our mouths, sit on our hands, and cover the eyes and ears of children.
Deception thrives when we do not want to admit that we have been played by the very people we know and trust the most, the men and women in fancy suits and priestly garments.
Our minds are shocked and stunned when we learn the truth, knowing that we have been played by liars and deceivers since we were little children.
How could they do this to us?
How did we not know?
How did our parents and grandparents not know this?
Satan has been spinning his web of deception around the world ever since the time of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. This web is a thick cloud of darkness circling the earth, and it is as thick and thin as the grains of sand that cover the beaches. One grain of sand is virtually useless; but when billions of grains of sand come together, they can wreck the strongest ship in the ocean. For this reason, the ocean can be a harbinger in the darkness, for the ship's captain cannot see the mountain of sand that is beneath the water.
For the past two thousand years, men and women of governments and religions have been secretly working together to keep the knowledge of Christ from becoming the knowledge of people, for they are servants of the devil while appearing to be servants of God, disguising themselves in fancy suits and priestly garments.
When will people get the message? When will they believe that the men and women of governments and religions are against Christ?
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6: 12)
Current events in the world today is the prophetic evidence (or signs) for the return of Christ the King---in our time, in front of our eyes, and in broad daylight. This is what it is all about. We are reading the pages of Bible prophecy when we look at events all over the world, and the leaders of governments and religions are secretly preparing a False Messiah to arrive on earth to deceive people to believe that he is Christ. This False Messiah will combine governments and religions as one and he will rule the world.
Jesus told us two thousand years ago that these events would come upon the earth:
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be FAMINES, and PESTILENCES, and EARTHQUAKES in various places. (Matthew 24: 9)
What we are seeing in current events is warfare, a spiritual war that is against Christ, being played on the stage of this physical world in our time, in front of our eyes, and in broad daylight. World leaders want us to believe in them and to follow them, but that is the wrong way. These people are lying to us because they want us follow them instead of following Christ, for they are not of Christ; but, at the same time, they are pretending to be followers of Christ, and they are deceivers, dressed in fancy suits and priestly garments. They want us to believe that they will produce a better world in which to live, or a new world order. But this new world order will not be better: it will be worse! It will simply be a new way of repeating the old way. Just as people want children to keep believing in Santa Claus, the leaders of the world wants us to keep believing in them and then to believe in the False Messiah as if he is from heaven.
In the world today, whom do you trust to tell you the truth?
Remember Adolph Hitler and how he wanted to build a new world order?
