A PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER

If a deal sounds too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true.

Today, try doing something perhaps for the first time in your life:
   Stop believing in religion.
Stop believing that you need a religion, or that your children need the same.
Stop believing that knowing religion is the same as knowing God.
Only something living can give you something, and because God never created religion, religion can give you nothing because religion has no life in it and therefore there is nothing living it can give you.  But if you have your faith in religion, all you are doing is surrendering your soul in exchange for nothing---as well as the souls of your children, for they will follow you.
Religion is a hoax, or a psychological thriller, created in the imaginations of people with a host of imaginary characters, including Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, and a reward system, such as beverages and wafers, instead of popcorn and soda.
Remembering, too, that Christ never came to earth to launch a new religion.  Even though Jesus was Jewish, the Lord never tried to persuade people to accept the Jews' religion; for Jesus came to earth to bring the love of God to a world that knows Him not.  And when Christ returns to earth, He will not bring a religion with Him.
Knowing then, that as the disciples and apostles of Christ departed Jerusalem to tell the world about Jesus, they never went forth to tell the world about a new religion.
As a psychological thriller, religion is designed to dazzle human minds with sights and sounds that look and sound holy, the place where people feast with their eyes and swallow with their ears, and it is the greatest method of mind control that man has invented on the face of the earth, creating illusions in the minds of people.
Religion is a psychological thriller and its theaters are located worldwide.  Admission is free, but there is a hidden cost.  A generous gratuity will be expected by the keepers of the gates.
If a deal sounds too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true.
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  (Mark 8: 36-37)
