GRAZING IN THE FIELDS

We are living in a world of spiritual mind control, for what is the attention of our focus?

Advertising is a method of mind control, designed to feed the human ego.
In television commercials, as well as in printed advertisements in magazines and newspapers, we are prompted to feed ourselves from the tables of this world.
Picture yourself in a new car, a new house, a new suit or dress, or a vacation on sandy beaches.
You deserve it.  You are worth it.  You can have it.
Make financial investments for yourself and for the pleasures of life that you want and deserve when you get older.
Here today, buy today.  Do not wait.  This deal will get away and later you will regret that you let the days of your youth pass you buy.
For just a few dollars a month, you can be It.  You can be everything you imagine yourself to be.
Bathe yourself in luxury, in cosmetics, dental implants, facelifts, and sexual enhancement medications that will enable you to achieve eternal youth and never grow old.
Sports is also a method of global mind control.  As long as athletes are treated as gods from the heavens with stardust in their hair, their behaviors outside the arenas do not really matter, do they?  As long as they bring championships and prestige to our nations, cities, and communities, athletes can abide under the umbrella of their own tents, their own set of laws and codes of conduct, doing as they please, for they are gifted and thereby special.  We look the other way, or believe that they are falsely accused.  For what we really desire is to be thrilled by their performances, then weep and drool when they walk by, hoping that we and our children can merely touch the hems of their garments.
Because of the power of advertising, you can become a golden calf in your own imagination and thereby believe that you are It, that you are Something Else, believing that others dearly desire to touch the hem of your garment when they see you in that new car, new house, designer clothes, and having the time of your life on sandy beaches.
We are living in a world of spiritual mind control, for what is the attention of our focus?
While our eyes are bombarded with advertising, and while athletes thrill us in the arenas, our attention is diverted from the activities of people in other places, such as the people in governments and the people in religions.  For as long as we focus on self, we will not focus on the activities of people in governments, nor the people in religions, for we have been manipulated to believe that they are looking out for us, that they have our interests in their hearts.
Neither will we focus on God.  How can we focus on God when our attention has been controlled and manipulated to focus on self and to the pleasures of this world?
In a way that is easy to understand, our minds are being controlled to follow the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City to see the Oz!  Like children, we are being led astray to systems of beliefs poured in our minds to operate within our imaginations, with firewalls to block the knowledge of God, which the world considers to be spam, or a virus.
Our minds are fed from grazing in the fields, and many people have never learned to feed their own minds---choosing instead to feast with the herds at tables set before them, not knowing that the food is laced with spiritual contamination, poisoning their minds and even their souls, never knowing the knowledge of God, but chained in darkness.
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.  (Second Corinthians 4: 3-4)
