The Light of the world was crucified in Jerusalem by evil men of darkness in their attempt to extinguish the Light---not knowing, nor believing, that the Light would arise from the tomb of death.
After that, however, they also knew that the Light was alive again, and, since that day, men of religion and politics have been working, as they continue to work today, to keep the knowledge of Christ hidden from people in order that people will not believe in the Light and come out of darkness.
Religion, therefore, is a house of lies, which is the same as a house on haunted hill: a place of darkness in which people are hidden from the Light of Christ, and a house that is filled with evil spirits.
The Gospel of John is the written evidence from God that Jesus is the Light of God, and that Jesus is God:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it now.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came into his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, but of God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. (John 1: 1-14)
So then, the purpose of religion as well as the purpose of religious Christianity is to contain and to conceal the Light of God, which is Christ the Lord; for men of religion and politics have been working together to extinguish the Light for nearly two thousand years.
Even now, men of religion and politics are continuing to work to keep Christ hidden from the minds of people: this is their purpose, this is their crusade, this is their quest. For we are living today under a worldwide web of deception, created by evil men to distract the attention of people from the Light, which is Christ the Lord, thereby turning the eyes of people to look at people in politics and religion for answers to problems, as well as for salvation, and not to Christ the Lord.
This worldwide web of deception is a global effort by millions of people, recruited by Satan, through an underground secret religion by men in secret societies, which originated in ancient Babylon. Which means that that evil religion of Nimrod at the tower of Babel is still the prevailing religion upon the earth today, yet disguised by many religions and by many men across the earth. This secret religion is Satanism, the worship of the devil as a god, which is the same as a Serpent Religion. Which means that all of the men of this worldwide web of deception are sons of the devil, and their purpose is to produce a worldwide web of darkness in the minds and in the lives of people all over the earth.
Knowing this, the ministers and priests of man's religions today have the knowledge of witchcraft from ancient Babylon, which empowers them to cast spells on the minds of their congregations as they gather in temples, shines, and false churches, and thereby holding them as spiritual prisoners for their god, Lucifer, the prince of darkness.
For just as God covered the land with darkness while His only begotten Son was on a cross, so will darkness cover the earth in the future, on a certain day and at a certain time, just as men of politics and religion will be clapping their hands by the false assumption that they have won their war against Christ.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars from heaven shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all of the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24: 29-30)
All of the tribes of the earth will mourn because the light of their sun god, moon goddess, and other gods of the stars and gods of the planets will be darkened and thereby unable to save them from the wrath of God, which will be revealed in the Son of God, as the glory of Christ, the Light of God, will brighten the universe with His appearance!
