When people believe that a man of the earth is a god, that man has complete control and domination of the minds of the people who believe in him.
To his followers, that man is a god, and not a normal human, and they are committed and submitted to following him, to kneel at his feet, and kiss his ring. They will also kneel to an image of him, such as a statue, a portrait, or a photograph.
Moreover, the people of his flock will do whatever he says to do, go wherever he says they should go, and do anything and everything to defend his name, his office, and his doctrine, as well as his life, which means they are willing to die for him---because to them he is, after all, a god.
Because that man has the power to forgive sins, this means that he also has the power to open the trapdoor to a world of darkness if they should not obey him, or turn their backs on him.
As a god, his congregation will give him whatever he needs or desires, including their money, the title deeds to their properties, and they will also surrender unto him their children, their own flesh and blood.
The words of that man are absolute, and his followers believe that his words are above the Word of the Lord as well as above the words of Christ the Lord.
The god-man of people is believed by sight and not by faith, for in their own minds they believe that he is "God on earth"; therefore, they cannot believe in Almighty God since god, to them, is here on earth.
Because the Bible is a book of faith, and because people of religion have their faith in their god-man, they do not believe that Almighty God created life, the earth, and the universe.
Knowing this, the people of the god-man do not believe in the story of Adam and Eve, or Noah's flood. Neither do they believe in Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, or Moses, nor in the parting of the Red Sea. After this, they do not believe in the prophets of God, nor in the stories of all the people in the Old Testament of the Bible.
As for the New Testament of the Bible, the followers of the god-man do not believe in any of its writers, nor the stories, nor the people, for the New Testament must also be believed by faith.
Please remember that people of religion believe by sights and by sounds, and not by faith; and because their faith is in a god-man, whom they see with their eyes and hear with their ears, it is therefore impossible for them to believe in Almighty God, who is invisible. And with their trust in the god-man for the forgiveness of their sins, what do they need God for?
Neither do people of religion believe in the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ in their hearts, for this, too, must be believed by faith, and not by sights or sounds. And with the trust of the people in the god-man for their salvation, what do they possibly need from Christ?
People of religion can, however, be taught to repeat that Jesus was born, died, and resurrected as part of their dogmas and doctrines, rites and rituals, because the god-man and his ministers and priests have taught them to "repeat after me".
Please remember that followers of a god-man have their faith in the god-man and in his words because he is their Supreme Commander, whom they also believe is holy. And they will only believe in that which he has taught them to believe and nothing more.
The god-man hides the knowledge of God from his people, he hides the knowledge of Christ from his people, he hides the Word of the Lord from his people, and he also hides the knowledge of Satan from his people! Therefore, it is equally impossible for people of religion to believe that Satan is a real creature, for the god-man never speaks about the devil.
Beyond this, people of religion believe in their god-man for heaven even though the god-man has no knowledge of heaven. Neither does the god-man have any knowledge of life beyond the grave, for he has never been there. All he can do when his followers die is close the door behind them---and Satan takes their souls.
The danger of religion is this: the Supreme Commander is Satan and the god-man is the High Priest of Satan. And religion, therefore, is a house of evil, but disguised as something good as well as something holy in the eyes of people.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11: 13-15)
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4: 3-4)
Only the Holy Spirit of God can break through the cloud of darkness that surrounds a religious mind, a mind that does not know Christ.
