HOOKED ON RELIGION

Jesus said, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.  (Matthew 4: 19)

Today, please know that Satan is also a fisher of men.
Satan knows Jesus, and Satan also knows that if people flee to Jesus, the devil will lose souls for hell.
   Satan is a copycat.
As a fisherman, Satan seduces people to believe that the lure of religion is the real deal:  it looks good, sounds good; looks true, sounds true; looks easy, sounds easy.  And when people bite the lure of religion, they are hooked; and, unless they are able to let go and come to Jesus, they remain hooked all the days of their lives.  And when they die, with the hook of religion still in their mouths, Satan puts their souls on a stringer and takes them to hell.  By deception, people believe that religion is the way to heaven---when, in fact, it is the way to hell.
Jesus said, I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. (Matthew 16: 18)
Satan, unable to prevail against the church of Christ, the devil influenced his ministers to add the word "church" to Satan's religion.  Thus, witchcraft became the Church of Witchcraft.  Satanism became the Church of Satan.  Then add the Church of Pagans, Church of Paganism, Church of Wiccan, Church of Vampires, Covenant Churches, and the Church of Atheism.  All of these are institutions of evil, and their ministers and priests are ministers and priests of the doctrines of devils.  As people are converted, they become children of the devil:  going forth as missionaries for Satan.  They are religious people and they go to "churches".  Surely they are nice people, right?  No, they are seducers.  Their lures are money, sex, drugs, pornography.  They are enticers, telling people they can do whatever they want to do, whatever feels good, and still be acceptable by god---which is the god of their religion.  These are the wolves in sheep's clothing. (Matthew 7: 15).
Jesus warned us about these false prophets, false teachers, and false missionaries, and gave us these words that we may know them:
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.  (Matthew 10: 16)
If you are hooked on religion, now would be a good time to let go.
