PAYDAY MOTORS

Even you and I have the power to create a new religion.  That's really not a big deal, nor difficult to do.  For men have been doing this for thousands of years!
But if you have no interest in creating something new, perhaps you should consider seeing our good friends downtown for something old but looks brand new.
For choosing a used religion is like shopping for a used car at Payday Motors.  Take one for a spin around the block, kick the tires, then drive it home to tell all your friends about it!
But if you are not happy in it for thirty days, trade it in.
After all, Payday Motors wants you to know that they understand your desire for comfort and to feel important.  If you want a model with more bells and whistles, trade it in; for they know what it is like to blow your own horn.  They also know that you are entitled to get what you pay for.
Used religions operate by the same premise:  you get what you pay for.
After all, religion is not free.
   Prayers will cost you something.
How much will you pay for comfort and to feel important?
What is the price for water baptism these days?
What is the current rate to have your sins forgiven by a member of the clergy?
How much will you have invested when you can begin to blow your own horn?
What are they teaching about heaven and hell?  Do both have a price?
Therefore, if there is a price to avoid hell and a price to gain heaven, is avoiding hell and gaining heaven as simple as writing a check?  And if writing a check to avoid hell or to gain heaven is that simple, who gets the money?  Where is the money deposited on your account?  And can you be sure the money will be there when you exit your body at death?  If this is your belief, then you must also believe that your money has an eternal value.
All religions are used.  All of them have been spinning the same yarns for thousands of years and producing the same weave.  They just have different ways of telling the same story.  Not one has ever told the truth, for there is no truth in man's inventions of religions.  All of them are fairytales, with different characters in different uniforms, and presented by men in costume garments, posing themselves as gods upon the earth:  for they know that people are easy to be tricked, and they also know that their pockets of money are easy to be picked.
If you are in religion, my friend, come out of it.  There is no life in it, there is no salvation for your soul, and it is a tomb of death.
"I EXHORT therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we made lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.  For there is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." (1st Timothy 2: 1-6)
