DECEPTION BY PERCEPTION

Il-lu-sion:  a thing that is or is likely to be wrongly perceived or interpreted by the senses; a deceptive appearance or impression; a false idea or belief; something that is false or not real but that seems to be true or real.
God is God, and all of the religions worldwide and throughout human history are manmade:  conceived and hatched in the imaginations of men and presented to people as if they are true and real.  But they are only illusions:  a work of deception by perception.
All of the religions of man have similar characteristics.  They have a godhead, or a supreme being.  They have multitudes of gods and goddesses.  Their gods include the sun, the moon, the planets, and even the stars of the heavens.  Many also consider things of the earth as gods, such as trees, rocks, and even frogs.  They include the worship of human priests as gods, and they also worship their ancestors, or pray to the souls of dead people.  All of these characteristics, however, are illusions:  a work of deception by perception.
If we say we believe in God, then we must also believe, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth."   (Genesis 1: 1)
But if you say you believe in God, you could be saying that you believe in the "god" of your religion, for many religions will use the word "god".   If you say, however, that you do not believe that God created the earth and human life, then you are likely to be talking about the "god" of your religion.  For the God of creation and human life is not the "god" of religion.  Since God is God, however, then the God of all things living is not the god of religion.  Since religions are manmade and handmade, then God of all things living is not the god of man's religions!
Because the religions of the world are manmade, God will not condescend His holiness to dwell in man's unholy religions, nor to dwell in the presence of unholy men, even with those men pretending to be priests of God.  This is an illusion: a work of deception by perception.
Remember when the women arrived at the tomb of Jesus after the Lord was crucified in Jerusalem?
"And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:  and as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?  He is not here, but is risen."  (Luke 24: 4-6)
If you are in a religion today, Why seek ye the living among the dead?  For none of your gods and goddesses have ever lived, and none of them is living now.  This is an illusion:  a work of deception by perception.  If you are worshipping your dead ancestors, they are still dead, and their bodies are still in their graves.  If you are praying to the souls of dead people, those people are still dead, and their bodies are still in their graves.  Dead people are not gods, and dead people cannot answer prayers.  This is an illusion:  a work of deception by perception.
In truth, religions are snares:  places to trap people and to hold them captive until the day they die, after which Satan gets their souls.  For religion is not the place of the living, but rather they are places for the dead.
Religion is a snare:  a place to trap and imprison people for live.
Religion is an illusion:  an exercise in the power of human imagination.
Christ is not there:  He is risen!
"Why seek ye the living among the dead?"
