IMAGINATION

Human imagination operates exactly like a television.
     Television and imagination produce images.
Television and imagination images are not real.
We can turn the channel of television and imagination and see other images.
Television and imagination can produce new images and re-run old images.
Images can be programmed into our minds by television and imagination, and we can also program images in the minds of others from television and imagination.
Our imaginations can imagine a god, and we can also worship the god of our imagination and thereby have an idol within our own minds and worship the idol.
Religion is an image, or creation, out of human imagination.  It has no life or life-sustaining capability, therefore it is not real.  Idols of religion are also not real because these are also products of imagination.
If we, therefore, have an image of  "a god" in our minds, then he will do no more or no less than what we imagine him to do, for we have written a script of him with our imagination; or the script has been written in our minds for us.
Religion and imagination are deceptions:  we can believe that we are actually worshipping the one true God, when in fact we are believing and worshipping a created image.
Being a religious person does not necessarily mean than you know God, but rather you simply know the god of your religion; and your god cannot forgive sin because he is an idol created in your own mind.  This means that you have been deceived into believing in something that is not true.
Even Christ can be an image of religion, created in the minds of people, and they will believe in the idol  by the power of imagination.  This is an illusion, a work of deception.   For Christ has no fellowship with man's religions, nor with man's religious idols.
Knowing Christ, therefore, is about a relationship with Him:  for it was Christ who died on the cross for our sins; and because life "is in the blood" (Leviticus 17:11) neither religion nor imagination have life because neither has blood:   neither can either forgive us for sin, nor give us eternal life.
For further information, you are invited to read the Word of God for yourself and allow God to help you to understand Him more clearly.  Please do not rely on religion or imagination for this important decision.
