RAVENING WOLVES

Jesus is not a superstar.  Neither were the disciples, apostles, nor even the writers of the Bible.
In the 20th century, however, and because of the advent of electronics---such as radio, television, and recorded music---many Christians have attained the level of "star power" in the eyes of millions of people:  by which they have attained fame, recognition, and even the accumulation of great wealth.
This, of course, has resulted in the arrogance of people within Christianity as people look up to ministers to hear their great words of wisdom and prophecies, rather than looking up to the Word of God for God's words of wisdom and prophecies.
Music, too, has produced arrogance in people because of the "star power" they have gained in fame, recognition, and the accumulation of great wealth:  as people look up to them to fill an emptiness rather than  looking up to God.
While Jesus was on earth, He was not a wealthy person.  Neither were the disciples, apostles, nor even the writers of the Bible.  In their time, not one of them attained the level of fame, recognition, nor the accumulation great wealth.
Jesus was crucified for telling the truth, and the disciples and apostles were executed for telling others about Jesus.
In the 20th century, how many Christians with "star power" have been executed for telling others about the Lord?
Instead, they are "cashing in" on the name of Jesus and thereby receiving fame, recognition, and financial rewards at the expense of the blood of Jesus Christ, which He shed for the sin of the world.
Jesus said, Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (Matthew 7: 15)
