And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Genesis l: 26)
Man was created, therefore, to have dominion over all the earth.
Adam and Eve, however, were seduced by Satan's deceptive power and they disobeyed God; and by agreeing with Satan, they lost the "keys to the kingdom" and their dominion over all the earth, which is how Satan became the god of this world (II Corinthians 4:4) and which is also why an invisible shield came between man and God because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve; therefore, all future generations, from Adam and Eve, are born with this invisible shield that separates us from God, which is why all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3: 23), and which is why Christ came to earth to die for the sin of the world, thereby making a way for people to return to God for all who will believe in Christ, who came to pay or redeem our sin debt, which is why Christ is also called the Redeemer: to do for us what we can not do for ourselves. For at birth, our minds are blocked from the knowledge of God because of the invisible shield that separates us from God, which is why Jesus said, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3: 3) To be born again is a spiritual rebirth, or, reborn. For God wants us to come back to Him, which is a return to God spiritually.
Satan, therefore, operates in the spiritual realm, which is invisible, and he has dominion over the earth because of his spiritual victory over Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden.
Satan has been at war against people ever since that day. He operates to deceive people from knowing God as well as works to keep people deceived until the day people die, at which time he gets their souls for hell.
Satan's personality characteristic is evil, and he can not change his nature. He is a thief and he is also a liar. Because of his spiritual invisibility, he transfers his evil to the imaginations of people because of his power. His desire is to keep people from being saved by Christ, and he will do everything within his power to accomplish his desire. If you, for example, have not been saved by Christ, the devil will do anything and everything he can do to keep you believing that you do not need salvation in Christ; and, if you believe you have been saved by another way, which is not of Christ, he will work to keep you believing in whatever you believe until the day you die: then he gets your soul.
Primarily, Satan deceives us through sight and sound. Sight: the things we can see with our eyes. Sound: the things we can hear with our ears. For with respect to the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden, it is written: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. (Genesis 3: 6)
By his invisible power, Satan influenced men to create religion, and religion is exactly like the forbidden tree in the garden of Eden, which also contains forbidden fruit. This tree of religion looks good for food as well as a tree that is pleasant to the eyes as well as a tree to be desired to make one wise. And Satan's ministers, inside religion, masquerade themselves as ministers of God. For by the sight of men dressed in priestly garments, we can believe that these men represent God because we are in a place that is designed to be pleasant to the eyes; and we are thereby deceived by what we see.
Next, Satan's invisible power also operates in and through music, which can be used to sound good to our ears, pleasant to our ears, and to be desired; for music is also invisible, and, therefore, music is also spiritual: a spiritual invisible.
Therefore, when religion is mixed with music, Satan is using a double-edged spiritual sword to deceive people! And the ministers of music are actually priests of Satan, for they are preaching Satan through the invisible power of music: they are missionaries to win souls for Satan!
Consequently, when worldly music is incorporated in the program of Christian churches, such as rock music and contemporary Christian music, people are deceived by sight and by sound because churches look pleasant to the eyes and the music is pleasant to the ears: from which people have spiritual experiences. By deception, however, they can believe that they are worshipping God, because of the sights and sounds, without knowing that the music is in honor of Satan. Thus the ministers of worldly music in churches are priests of Satan!
As it is written in the Word of God:
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtility, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (II Corinthians 11: 3, 14, 15)
Please remember: God does not bless churches because they look pleasant to the eyes, and neither does God bless Satan's music.
For Christ alone remains the only way of salvation: without atmospheres and also without music.
Amen.
