From the creation of Adam until the return of Jesus Christ to the earth is God's timeline for human history, at which time all things will change and nothing will ever be the same again.
We know that from Adam until today is approximately 6,000 years of human existence upon the earth, plus or minus a few years because of our lack of understanding God's method of counting.
So then, how much time remains before human history ends with the return of Christ?
Only God knows the answer to this question, for this is God's best-kept secret, and God will not reveal this day, month, or year to any man or woman upon the earth, which is confirmed by the words of Jesus when He said,
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Matthew 24: 36)
Relative to the age of the earth as well as to the age of the universe, human history is truly quite young. People of this world, however, want us to believe that human life is millions and millions of years, but this is not true. To be blunt on this matter, not all of man's history books are truth because they are tainted with lies; for they are written by people who deny God as well as deny God's Word, which is the Bible, and, of course, they want us to agree with them instead of agreeing with God because they believe their educated minds are greater than the knowledge of God. But it is written,
The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psalm 14: 1-3)
As God said unto His servant, Job:
Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? (Job 38: 2)
To be truthful, a man without God wants to believe that he is greater than God, and a man without God also wants to believe that his knowledge is greater than the knowledge of God.
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; (1st Corinthians 1: 20, 25, 27)
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. (Romans 13: 11)
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5: 15-16)
How, then, are we to know God's timeline if we reject the knowledge of God?
As stated previously and many times, God knows you, He knows your bloodline, He knows your DNA, and He created you to be born of a woman.
In this world, however, you are no more than a nameless face as well as no more than a number on a ledger sheet. Your life means nothing to this world, and, when you die, your name will mean no more than an etching on a tombstone. This world does not love you because this world does not know the love of God, nor does it know the knowledge of God.
For in religion, too, you are no more than a nameless face as well as no more than a number on a membership list. And when you die your name will mean no more than an etching on a tombstone because religion does not know the love of God, nor does religion know the knowledge of God; for religion is of this world and not of God.
Therefore, you are important to God, and therefore you can believe in God's timeline even though we do not know the hour or the day when human history ends with the return of Christ the Lord.
Your soul is also an important matter. Whom, then, will you trust with your soul beyond the grave? To whom will you surrender your right of ownership? Will you trust your soul to the men of this world, or to the men of religion? Or will you trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for your sin?
Remember, God knows best what is best for you, but this world and religion only know the worst for you. For now, you are in control of your future; but when you die, you lose that control. So please make your decision for Christ now, and do not linger.
For now, it is not for us to know the end of the season. What is important is how we live our lives in the here and now with our faith in Christ. And for now, this is all we need to know because God is in control of the future.
