BEFORE AGE SEVEN

Religions are highly competitive, and each is out on the highways and byways to snatch the souls of people.
Religions will not go away and leave people alone.  They are in every village, in every community, it every town, and in every nation under the sun.
Each religion is armed with a band of soldiers, highly trained and highly efficient in the art of persuasion:  to attract, to lure, to seduce victims to enter therein, and then to submit themselves to the knowledge of religion.
When they persuade willing adults, they get the children as the spoils of war.
From birth to seven years of age is the most critical time in the training of a child, and the knowledge that is first to enter his mind is the knowledge he will likely believe and follow all the days of his life.
Since the child is not offered another option, he does not know that another choice is available, for his religion has been chosen for him.
Thus, before seven years of age, his mind has been indoctrinated and programmed to believe in the knowledge of religion, which is now his religion, and which he will likely obey and defend all the days of his life.  He will also be expected to train his children to be like him.
It is easy for a man to walk out of religion, but it is difficult for that man to cleanse his mind from the knowledge of his religion.
"Train up a child in the way he should go:  and when he is old, he will not depart from it."  (Proverbs 22: 6)
To know God, the mind of a child must be trained in the knowledge of God, and this knowledge is given to us in the Holy Bible.
Do not be deceived:  the Bible is written in simple words and in simple sentences, and young children can understand the truth that is told in simple Bible stories.  Therefore, never believe that a child is too young to believe the Bible; for if a child can learn the lies of religion at an early age, he can also learn the truth about God!
"Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they be as frontlets between your eyes.  And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."  (Deuteronomy 11: 18-19)
Likewise, for a man to know God, he must come out of religion and come to Christ; then he must begin to saturate his mind with the word of the Lord and thereby gain the knowledge of God, which will drive away his knowledge of religion.
"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."  (2 Corinthians 10: 5)
The more a man saturates his mind with the knowledge of the Bible, the more he will learn to think in the mind of Christ!  This will require some self-discipline, but it does get easier as the days go by.
Try reading one chapter per day, or one book per week.  You will be amazed at all the knowledge you will learn about God.
Try this, and let me know how you are doing.
