LIES, LIES, LIES!

What is there about lying that is so difficult for humans to understand?
When are we going to get it, when are we going to wise up to the fact that man is a natural born liar?
Therefore, lying is easy for humans because it is our nature to lie, to cheat, and to steal.
Parents lie to children, children lie to parents, spouses lie to spouses, friends lie to friends, and employers and employees lie to each other.
Politicians lie to the people of their nations and cities, and politicians lie among themselves.
Other liars include pharoahs, caesars, popes, presidents, priests, pastors, preachers, kings and queens, monarchs and dictators, friends and family members, Republican or Democrat, wealthy people and poor people, tax returns, employment applications, and golf scorecards.
We also separate lies in the categories of little lies and big lies, or white lies from black lies.
Some people lie with a hand on the Bible!
For thousands of years, the kingdoms and empires of man have been built on lies, and lies have led to the downfall and destruction of all kingdoms and empires in all of human history.
Lies destroy the relationships of friends, marriages, families, companies, corporations, and nations.
By lying, we are deceiving others to believe that we are truthful beings, which is nothing more than hypocrisy; and hypocrites are masters of deception.
If you believe, however, that we are not natural born liars, why is it so difficult to teach toddlers how to tell the truth?
If, on the other hand, we are naturally born to be truthful, we would not need civil laws to protect us from unlawful humans, would we?
Beyond civil laws (which we cannot obey) man created religion and, by the power of his deceptive personality, he persuaded people to believe that the sun is the chief god, that the moon is a goddess, and that all the stars and planets are also gods.  Then he added gods of the earth, such as animals, fish, birds, and plants, as well as images of gods by the work of his hands.  Not only did man create all of these gods, but he also established feast days as special days to bring sacrifices and offerings to these gods, which have no eyes, no ears, no heart, and no brain, and the belief that even dead people can become gods.
Today, a human's greatest fear is another human.   We fear that another person or persons will kill us, rob us, take our possessions, and even take our children.
Today, a child's greatest threat is a human adult because human adults abduct children, drug them, use them, abuse them, sell them, and trade them in the financial enterprise of child traffiking.
Even now, government leaders worldwide are telling lies about the state of the global economy as well as the lie that citizens of nations must be disarmed of guns in order for global peace to be accomplished:  as if the problem is guns, not people.
Man has never had total peace on earth, and he never will---because man is not a peaceful creature because he lies.  And until people reconcile their sinful ways with God, people will always lie.
In a world without God, there will never be peace on earth.
Lock your home.  Lock your car.  Hide your money.  Guard your children.
Where do you keep your golf clubs?  Where do you keep your baseball glove?
We must be honest and admit that we do not live in a peaceful world because we live in a world of evil people, and the world is presently being consumed by evil because of the evil minds and evil hearts of evil people.  Evil is winning, not the goodness of people---and certainly not the righteousness of God.
If you are having a peaceful day, enjoy it.  But be prepared:  your peaceful day will be disrupted by another human.  Someone today will rob you of your peace, your joy, and your happiness.
Be sure and know that someone today, through his or her deceptive personality, will lie to you---just as the serpent deceived Adam and Eve with his charming personality.
There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.  (Isaiah 48: 22)
