GREED

Governments and religions have sufficient funds to feed hungry people worldwide every day and without going broke.  But are governments and religions feeding hungry people every day?  Of course not!

Governments and religions also have sufficient funds to build schools, hospitals, emergency medical centers, and alcohol and drug treatment facilities worldwide and without going broke.  But are governments and religions doing any of these things for people?  Of course not!

"For the love of money is the root of all evil:  which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."  (1st Timothy 6" 10)

The leaders of governments and religions are greedy people, for they are willing to watch people suffer and die rather than giving them a helping hand in their time of need.

The leaders of governments and religions are just as guilty as Judas Iscariot.  For as Judas betrayed Christ for thirty pieces of silver, the world's leaders have betrayed people for all the money in the world, which they love and heap unto themselves endless profits and benefits while being content to watch evil destroy the lives of men, women, and children, for they love money more than they care for people.

   Jesus said,
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"  (Mark 8: 38-39)

If the leaders of governments love money more than they care for people, have they sold their souls for all the money in the world?
If the leaders of religions love money more than they care for people, have they sold their souls for all the money in the world?
If people follow the leaders of governments and leaders of religions, have they done the same?

"Be ye therefore followers of God as dear children:  and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor."                           (Ephesians 5: 1-2)
